Some say that December is one of the most romantic months of year, we certainly agree! With a chill in the air and every establishment decked out in Christmas decor - finding a great location for a cozy date is just too easy. Here are a couple ideas for you and your one-and-only for the month of December! 

1. Buy tickets to a Holiday themed play 

Dress up in your finest winter attire and head to your local theatre! There are so many great plays aimed towards this time of year - "The Nutcracker", "Miracle on 34th Street", "How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical", just to name a few. Head to happy hour beforehand and you've got yourself a pretty fabulous evening. 

2. If location permits, check out a Christmas light boat parade

If you have a harbor near you, check to see if they offer a Christmas boat parade! Local residents will decorate their boats or homes on the water for a truly magical view. Throw on that fluffy scarf and fill up your to-go mug with hot chocolate for a crisp evening outside. 

3. Turn your Christmas shopping into an adventure 

Cruise to the nearest downtown area and turn your shopping list into a date! Many downtown area's create such a beautiful atmosphere with their decor - bring your better half with you and get into the Holiday spirit. You can walk the area, have lunch/dinner, do a bit of shopping and pause for a much needed hot toddy! 

4. Stay in and decorate that tree 

Whether your tree is of the faux variety or you cut it down yourself, make a night of decorating it! Bust out your favorite Christmas sweater, light that fireplace, put together a decadent charcuterie board and pop open a great bottle of red. Spend the evening reminiscing about where each ornament came from while you just enjoy each others company.
